While updating iDevice, ITunes automatically downloads a firmware file. Now, when we open the firmware, we find some small and a big file, called encrypted file system, i.e. the one that is installed on the device. When we use iDecryptIt on the file, it decrypts the file. We can extract the decrypted file with 7-Zip or mounted as a virtual hard drive with certain tools.

Is this new or? I havent seen this before.. Iv been syncing with EVO Collaborator for the past 1.5 years and it has been great.
